1. Overview

A1 San Leon RV Park ("A1", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website and on-site operations, how we use it, and the limited ways we share it. It also covers the cookies and browser storage this website uses.

2. Information We Collect

  • Reservation details you submit — name, phone, email, rig details, move-in / move-out dates, pad selection.
  • Payment details collected in person or by phone at the on-site office (we do not store full card numbers on this website).
  • Communications — emails, phone calls, and messages exchanged with the office.
  • Site usage data — basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referrer, collected automatically when you use this website.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create, confirm, reschedule, and cancel reservations.
  • To contact you about your stay, payments, or a change affecting the park.
  • To operate the park safely — verifying guests, managing pad assignments, and handling incidents.
  • To improve the website, fix bugs, and prevent abuse.
  • To comply with legal, tax, and public-safety obligations.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us run the site or the park (e.g. website hosting, payment processing) under confidentiality obligations.
  • Law enforcement or government agencies when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety of guests and staff.
  • A successor entity in the event of a sale or reorganization of the park, subject to the same privacy commitments.

5. Data Storage & Retention

  • Reservation records are retained for as long as needed to operate the park and to meet legal, accounting, and tax requirements — typically up to 7 years.
  • Where our website stores your reservation locally in your browser (see Cookies & Local Storage below), that data stays on your device until you clear it.
  • We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

This website uses a small set of browser storage technologies:

  • Essential local storage — the booking page saves your reservations (pad, dates, contact details) in your browser's local storage so you can view, reschedule, or cancel them later. This data stays on your device and is not sent to third parties.
  • Strictly necessary cookies — small cookies may be set by our hosting provider to keep the site running securely (for example, load balancing).
  • Embedded content — pages that include a Google Map or similar embed may set cookies from that provider under their own privacy policy.

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings. Doing so will remove reservations saved on your device.

7. Children

This website is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

8. Your Choices & Rights

  • You can request a copy of the reservation information we hold about you.
  • You can ask us to correct inaccurate information or delete records that we are not required to keep.
  • You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time by replying "unsubscribe" or by contacting the office.
  • Depending on your state (e.g. Texas Data Privacy and Security Act) you may have additional rights — we honor verified requests to the extent required by applicable law.

9. Third-Party Links

Our site may link to third-party websites (for example, driving directions or nearby attractions). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Please review their policies before providing information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The version posted on this page is the version in effect. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
